Fudgy Brownies Recipe

Ingredients Needed
- Eggs: This is essential for binding and moisture
- Organic coconut sugar: The best unrefined sugar alternative and it has this amazing caramel-like taste to it.
- Pure maple syrup: Make sure it is pure and 100% maple syrup.
- Pure vanilla extract: This is optional.
- Nut Butter: I used peanut butter. Make sure whichever nut butter you use is 100%.
- GF Flour: I used almond flour.
- Baking powder
- Sea salt/Himalayan salt
- Cocoa Powder
- Dark Chocolate: You can use any chocolate you like. I used 70% dark chocolate.
- Walnuts: Or any nut of your choice. I just find walnuts taste good in brownies.
How To Make The Best Fudgy Brownie Recipe
- Start by lining an 8×8 baking tray with non-stick baking paper. This step makes it easier to remove the brownies later.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, organic coconut sugar, pure maple syrup, vanilla extract (if you like), and nut butter. Stir until everything’s blended nicely.
- In a separate bowl, add the almond flour, baking powder, sea salt or Himalayan salt, and cocoa powder and mix it until it is combined. Then pour into the wet mixture and fold in until you form a batter (it will be thick but that is ok!)
- Gently fold in your choice of chopped dark chocolate pieces and the nuts. This will give your brownies that lovely texture and extra flavour.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Make sure it’s spread out evenly.
- Pop the pan into your preheated oven. Once they’re out of the oven, let the brownies cool in the pan. Once they have cooled, cut them into squares or your preferred shape.
- Enjoy your homemade chewy brownies!

- Airtight Container: The most common way to store the brownies is in an airtight container.
- Room Temperature: If you plan to consume the brownies within a day or two, storing them at room temperature is acceptable. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Refrigeration (Optional): If you want to extend the shelf life, you can refrigerate your brownies. However, be aware that refrigeration can potentially dry them out a bit. To prevent this, you can use an airtight container.
