Boost your health with this orange ginger shot recipe! Packed with vitamin C and antioxidants, it supports digestion, immunity, blood sugar balance, and detoxification.
I’ve been making homemade ginger shots for about two years now, and it’s been one of the best decisions for my health. Not only are they more affordable and tastier than store-bought options, but the health benefits are incredible.
My skin has improved, my digestion is better, my immune system feels stronger, and I get a natural energy boost in the morning without any crashes.
Just like my carrot lemon ginger shot recipe, this orange ginger shot is equally delicious and easy to make, offering the same amazing benefits.
In this post, I’ll share the full recipe and the health benefits you can expect if you take this shot every morning (before your meal) and stay consistent.
Whenever we feel unwell, I have a few bottles ready. They help us recover faster and boost our immunity, which is especially helpful now that my child is in school, where illnesses are more common.

Orange Ginger Shot
Orange Ginger Shot Ingredients:
- Fresh Oranges
- Fresh Lemons
- Fresh Ginger
- Turmeric: I use turmeric powder, but fresh turmeric works just as well.
- Black Pepper: A pinch is essential to activate the turmeric, helping your body absorb its benefits more effectively.

FAQ:
What are the benefits of orange and ginger shots?
Oranges are rich in vitamin C, which supports immune function, aids collagen production, and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. Ginger adds anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, can aid digestion, and may help reduce nausea. When you add these two together in a shot, they can provide a quick energy lift, support overall wellness, and help the body fight off colds.
Do ginger shots make you lose weight?
This is a question I get asked a lot on Instagram, as I have shared ginger shot recipes multiple times, and I also share weight loss tips too.
But ginger shots alone won’t magically make you lose weight, but they can support weight loss when paired with a healthy diet and lifestyle. Ginger may help boost metabolism, improve digestion, and reduce inflammation, which can make it easier for your body to process food efficiently.
Is ginger shot better in the morning or night?
Ginger shots are generally best taken in the morning, as they can give you a natural energy boost and kick-start your digestion for the day.
While it’s safe to have them at night, the energizing nature of ginger may be less ideal before bed, especially if you’re sensitive to stimulating foods or drinks.
