Enjoy this wholesome multi seed crackers recipe with a blend of pumpkin, sunflower, flax, and sesame seeds.
If you’re anything like me, you probably can’t resist a good cheese board paired with some creamy hummus and crackers – it’s practically irresistible! I recently shared a healthy hummus recipe on the blog (check it out HERE if you haven’t already – trust me, it’s a winner!). But today, I’m excited to talk about another favourite: homemade multi-seed crackers.
These crackers have been popping up everywhere lately, and I just had to give them a try. Not only are they super easy to make, but they taste absolutely delicious and are the perfect addition to any cheese board or snack spread.
But here’s the best part: these crackers aren’t just tasty – they’re also incredibly good for you. Packed with healthy fats, omega-3s, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and protein, they’re everything you could want in a healthy snack.
Now, I know what you might be thinking – aren’t store-bought crackers supposed to be healthy too? Well, not always. Despite their claims of being high in protein or whole grain, many commercial crackers sneak in unhealthy ingredients like palm oil, refined flour, and preservatives to prolong shelf life.
So if you’ve been on the hunt for a truly healthy cracker option, look no further than this multi-seed crackers recipe. Trust me, once you try them, you’ll never go back to store-bought crackers again!
I can’t wait for you to give these crackers a try and hear what you think. Be sure to leave a comment and rating below, and if you share your creations on Instagram, don’t forget to tag me @lotsoflovemariam – I’d love to see them!

Ingredients Needed For This Mixed Seed Crackers Recipe
- Pumpkin seeds
- Sunflower seeds
- Sesame Seeds
- Whole flaxseeds
- Milled flaxseeds
- Sea salt
- Boiling water
How To Make These Crackers
- In a bowl, simply mix together all the ingredients. Then, pour in the hot water and give it another good mix.
- Next, let the mixture sit for about 5-10 minutes until it thickens slightly. You’ll notice the flax seeds working their magic, giving the water a gel-like texture that will make it easier to spread onto a tray. Make sure you keep mixing it to see if it has thickened a little.
- Preheat your oven and line a flat tray with a non-stick baking sheet. Once the mixture has thickened a bit, pour it onto the prepared tray and use a spatula/spoon to evenly flatten it out. Remember, the thinner and flatter you go, the crispier your crackers will be!
- Pop the tray into the oven and let the crackers bake to perfection. Once they’re done, give them a moment to cool down before breaking them into tasty, crunchy pieces.
- Enjoy!
How To Store Homemade Crackers
- Place the cooled crackers in an air-tight container or a resealable plastic bag.
- Store the container of crackers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources (as this can cause the crackers to become stale).
- Enjoy within a week or two!
