Room Types & Amenities

The resort offers a range of accommodation options to suit different group sizes and budgets, including Superior Rooms, Family Suites, and the ultra-luxurious Royal Villas, which feature breathtaking views overlooking the Red Sea.
We stayed in a Superior Room, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and felt luxurious—especially after our disappointing hotel experience in Hurghada. There was also plenty of storage space, which made it easy to keep our belongings organised and the room clutter-free throughout our stay.

Daily housekeeping was exceptional. Each time we placed the “clean service” sign, the staff changed the bed sheets and thoroughly cleaned the space, so we always returned to a spotless room. We were so impressed that we tipped our housekeeper 200 EGP at the end of our stay—tipping is very much appreciated in Egypt, and the staff truly deserve it.
Overall, our room experience was outstanding and played a big part in why we loved staying here.
Facilities & Services
We were genuinely impressed with the wide range of facilities and services available at the resort. Here are some of the highlights we personally enjoyed:
Dining Options

The hotel features one main buffet restaurant, where we enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. There was often live music, which made the dining experience feel even more special.

In addition to the buffet, the resort also offers six à la carte restaurants, giving guests a variety of cuisines to choose from (although we didn’t get the chance to try them).
The food was very good overall, with plenty of variety. Our favourites were definitely the grilled meats and chicken they served outdoors—we ended up having this nearly every day for lunch and dinner!
Leisure Facilities

The resort offers excellent leisure amenities, including:
- Multiple outdoor swimming pools
- Private beach
- Kids’ pool
- Water slide
- Fully equipped gym
- Sauna
- and much more…
We mainly spent time at the main outdoor pool, which had plenty of comfortable loungers and a relaxing atmosphere.
A special mention goes to the gym—I was genuinely impressed by how well equipped it was. There were lots of machines, a good selection of weights, and it opened early in the morning, which made it perfect for getting a workout in before starting the day.

Things To Know Before Visiting
Here are a few helpful tips to keep in mind when staying at this hotel (and travelling in Sharm El Sheikh in general):
1. Bring Diarrhoea Tablets
Egypt is well-known for “Pharaoh’s Belly,” so even if the food seems clean and delicious (which it was), you may still be at risk of an upset stomach. It’s a good idea to bring diarrhoea tablets or medication just in case.
2. Tipping Culture
While staff at this hotel will never ask for tips, they are greatly appreciated. We tipped a few people who consistently went above and beyond during our stay:
- Housekeeper — 200 EGP (kept our room spotless every day)
- Two pool staff — 200 EGP + 100 EGP (always helpful, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable)
Tipping is not mandatory, but it’s a thoughtful gesture that will genuinely make someone’s day, especially after a longer stay.
3. Avoid Local Taxis
The hotel is conveniently located, just around 10–15 minutes by car to major attractions such as:
- Soho Square
- Naama Bay
- Old Town / Sahaba Mosque
For the best transport experience, we highly recommend purchasing a local SIM card at the airport and downloading the inDrive app. It gives you a set price for your ride, and you pay the driver at the end — no scams or inflated prices.
We paid roughly £3–£5 (10–15 minutes) per ride, whereas standard taxis would charge more than double!
