Mango Smoothie Bowl
Jump to RecipeMango Smoothie Bowl Ingredients:
- Frozen mangos: You can buy frozen mangos or you could do what I did which was cut 1 large whole mango into chunks and freeze them overnight.
- Frozen pineapple: I used store-bought frozen pineapples but you can definitely freeze your own by cutting a few chunks.
- Frozen banana: Peel one banana, cut it in half, and pop it in a freezer bag to freeze overnight.
- Greek yogurt: Use full-fat Greek yogurt for that extra goodness – healthy fats and protein. This also will make your mango smoothie bowl extra thick which is key for a smoothie bowl!
- Milk: I used full-fat milk but you can use any milk of your choice.
- Ceylon cinnamon: This type of cinnamon is the healthiest and safest – most store-bought cinnamons are not safe and can be poisonous. Click HERE to shop the same Ceylon cinnamon I use (you get A LOT in a bag which will last you for a few months!)
- Maple syrup: This is optional but it will add extra sweetness, but just make sure you are using organic pure maple syrup!

How To Make This Delicious Mango Smoothie Bowl Recipe
- You have a couple of options for the fruits: you can either buy them frozen or prepare them yourself. For this recipe, what I usually do is cut up one whole mango in chunks the night before, freeze it overnight. I do the same with the banana
- For the pineapples, I usually opt for the frozen ones from the store. However, feel free to choose whichever option works best for you. Just make sure your fruits are frozen to achieve that thick, creamy texture for your mango smoothie bowl.
- Once your fruits are frozen, simply add the ingredients to a powerful blender with the Greek yogurt, milk, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth. You can add more milk if needed but just make sure you are adding small amounts so you do not end up with a runny smoothie bowl.
- Once your smoothie is ready, pour it into a bowl and get creative with your toppings! Whether you prefer granola, sliced almonds, chia seeds, or any other favourite toppings, now’s the time to add them in.]
- Enjoy your pineapple mango smoothie bowl!

Topping Options:
One of the best things about a smoothie bowl is its versatility—toppings are where you can truly let your creativity shine. Whether you fancy adding more fruits for a burst of freshness, super seeds for an extra nutritional boost, or granola for a delightful crunch, the choice is entirely yours.
Here are some topping suggestions:
- Homemade Granola: I have two granola recipes you can explore HERE. Homemade granola tends to be healthier than store-bought varieties, and the satisfaction of making it yourself is simply unbeatable.
- Fresh Berries: Elevate the fruity goodness of your mango smoothie bowl by topping it with fresh berries. Whether it’s strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries.
- Nutty Bliss: Add extra protein and crunch sprinkling some chopped nuts or seeds over your smoothie bowl. Almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, or sunflower seeds are excellent choices that complement the creamy mango base beautifully.
- Coconut Flakes: For a taste of the tropics, consider adding a sprinkle of shredded coconut to your smoothie bowl.
