Where To Stay In Antalya
Hotel Review: Akra Hotel
If you’re looking for luxury hotels in Antalya with breathtaking sea views, Akra Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Antalya city. This 5-star hotel is perfect for couples, families, and solo travelers who want a modern, comfortable stay with top-tier amenities while still being close to Antalya’s main attractions.
If this is your first time visiting Antalya, I highly recommend staying in Antalya city, as it’s the best area for exploring. Akra Hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access the city’s key sights, restaurants, and beaches.
By the way, there are two Akra hotels. Make sure you choose this Akra Hotel and not the Akra V Hotel.
My Experience Staying At Akra Hotel
This was the first hotel we stayed at during our first trip to Antalya, and it was absolutely the right choice! While visiting Old Town Marina, a local told us that Akra Hotel is the best hotel in Antalya city, and I couldn’t agree more.
Different Rooms For Different Budgets
Akra Hotel is a mid-range to luxury hotel, offering a variety of room types at different price points. Whether you’re on a moderate budget or looking for a high-end experience, they have options to suit your needs. We booked a sea-view room, and it was completely worth it—the views were stunning!
The hotel’s design is modern and minimal, both inside and out, which I personally loved. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Best Location To Explore Antalya City
One of the biggest advantages of staying at Akra Hotel is its prime location. Since it’s in Antalya city, getting to top attractions was incredibly easy. A quick taxi ride took us to places like:
- Old Town Marina
- Hadrian’s Gate
- Kaleiçi (Old Town Antalya) (our favourite spot!)
If you want to explore Antalya city, staying here is a huge convenience compared to hotels that are further out.
Food And Dining Experience

The food at Akra Hotel was outstanding—one of the best we’ve ever had at a hotel!
- The buffet had a different variety every day, with fresh, high-quality dishes.
- The outdoor dining area overlooked the sea and mountains, making every meal even more enjoyable.
Since we planned to explore the city and eat out, we only booked breakfast. However, we ended up having dinner at the hotel every night because the food was so good! Paying per meal was actually cheaper than going full board, so if you plan to explore, I recommend doing the same.
Comfort And Service
- Our room was incredibly spacious, super clean, and had the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on!
- Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless.
- The mini-fridge was always restocked with snacks and drinks.
Top Features And Amenities
Private Beach And Multiple Pools

- The hotel offers direct sea access and several outdoor pools.
- The pool area had stunning views, and we spent most of our time there.
- The private beach area was beautiful, though I wish it had more sand rather than just access to the sea.
Luxurious Spa And Wellness Facilities

- The full-service spa includes a Turkish bath, sauna, and a modern gym.
- I booked a facial and full-body massage, and it was incredible—I highly recommend trying the spa if you stay here!
Multiple Restaurants And Bars

- The main buffet restaurant serves Turkish and international cuisine with panoramic sea views.
- They had other restaurants and bars but we tried them as the main buffet restaurant was just too good!
Clean and Spacious Rooms
- Many rooms come with balconies overlooking the sea or mountains for an unforgettable stay.
- Whether you’re choosing a budget-friendly room or a luxury suite, you’ll get top-tier comfort. We got the budget-friendly and only paid extra for the sea view and it was genuinely such a beautiful room – I wish I had taken pictures of it!
Akra Hotel is hands down one of the best hotels in Antalya city—especially if you’re visiting for the first time. The combination of stunning views, delicious food, luxurious comfort, and a perfect location made our stay unforgettable.
If you’re planning to explore Antalya but still want a relaxing, high-end stay, Akra Hotel is a fantastic choice!

Side, Antalya Hotel Review: Arnor Deluxe Hotel And Spa
After falling in love with Antalya on our first trip, we decided to return the following summer. This time, however, we stayed in Side Antalya, a beautiful coastal town about an hour from Antalya city.
If you’ve already explored Antalya and want a relaxing, budget-friendly holiday, I highly recommend staying outside Antalya city in areas like Side or Alanya. These areas offer more affordable resorts, and we found plenty of great all-inclusive hotel options.
Before I go into the details, I want to mention something important: If your plan is to explore Antalya city, I do not recommend staying in a hotel too far away from it.
The reason is that traveling by taxi or hotel transfer from Side to Antalya city can be very expensive, costing anywhere between €120-€150 per day for a round trip. However, if your goal is to relax, and enjoy the pool, beach, and warm weather, then Arnor De Luxe Hotel & Spa is a fantastic option!
Our Experience At Arnor Deluxe Hotel And Spa
Poolside And Family-Friendly Facilities

This is where we spent the majority of our time. The pool had and amazing poolside and plenty of sunbeds, making it the perfect relaxing getaway.
On one side, there’s a children’s pool with slides and a water play zone, making it a great choice for families with kids – our little one absolutely loved it there!
All-Inclusive Package

We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included unlimited drinks from the bar and access to food near the pool area during meal times.
There is also a paid snack bar, but honestly, the included snack bar had everything we needed, so we never had to pay extra (only once when I really wanted coconut water).
Buffet-Style Dining

The main restaurant serves buffet-style meals with a variety of food options. While the food here was not as good as Akra Hotel, it was decent with different options daily—the Turkish-themed night was my favorite!
There’s a dedicated children’s buffet area with small tables and chairs, making it fun and comfortable for kids. At check-in, you can request a meal schedule so you know exactly when each meal is served.
Private Beach Access
One of the best features of this hotel is its attached private beach. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus every 10 minutes from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, and the ride takes just 5 minutes.
We loved the beach because the beach had soft sand, making it better than Lara Beach which is perfect for families with kids who love building sandcastles.
