After making my no-bake date brownie balls and watching them go viral, with so many of you becoming just as obsessed with them as we were, I knew I had to try the viral cottage cheese brownie balls next! I honestly thought they might taste pretty similar, but they really don’t. These no-bake cottage cheese brownie balls have a delicious salty-sweet flavour, making them the perfect treat if you love that combination of sweet and salty.
The best part? They’re incredibly quick and easy to make, with no baking required. Just blend, mix, roll and enjoy! They turned out so delicious that I knew I had to share this easy cottage cheese brownie balls recipe with you.
What I especially love about these cottage cheese brownie bites is that they have a little extra protein from the cottage cheese and almond butter. You can also use peanut butter, which is what the original viral version uses. They’re made with simple ingredients and make such a delicious sweet treat to enjoy alongside your health goals, without feeling like you have to miss out on the foods you love.

Best Cottage Cheese Brownie Balls Recipe
Ingredients Needed
- Full-fat cottage cheese
- Almond butter or peanut butter
- Maple syrup
- Vanilla extract
- Almond flour
- Cocoa powder
- Dark or milk chocolate
- Coconut oil
How To Make These No Bake Cottage Cheese Brownie Balls
- Add the cottage cheese, almond butter (or peanut butter), maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a blender, food processor, or use a hand blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and add the almond flour and cocoa powder. Mix well with a spatula until everything is fully combined and you have a thick brownie batter.
- Place the mixture in the freezer for 5–10 minutes while you melt the chocolate.
- Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave in short intervals. Stir regularly to prevent the chocolate from burning, until smooth and fully melted.
- Remove the brownie mixture from the freezer and line a plate or tray with non-stick baking paper. Roll the mixture into small balls, roughly the size of a meatball. You should get around 8–10 balls.

- Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate, making sure it is completely coated, then place it onto the lined tray.
- Add your favourite toppings while the chocolate is still melted. Try crushed nuts, Biscoff biscuit crumbs or a sprinkle of sea salt, or leave them plain.

- Place the brownie balls in the fridge for around 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has completely hardened.

- Once set, transfer them to an airtight container and store them in the fridge to keep the chocolate from melting.
- Enjoy!
